API development and system integration services

Stop re-typing the same order, customer or price into three systems. We build APIs and integrations that move data between your applications, ERP, warehouse, payments and partners, and make every failure visible.

System integration services that start with data ownership

Integrations fail when two systems both think they own the same data. Before writing code, we map which system creates and maintains each piece of information (customers, products, prices, stock, orders, payments), which direction it flows and how quickly it has to arrive.

That map becomes the contract for the integration and the checklist for testing it. It also shows where a simple scheduled sync is enough and where changes have to arrive within seconds.

ERP integration services

The ERP usually holds the truth about customers, prices, stock and orders, while customers and staff work in portals, stores and mobile apps. For a wine and spirits distributor, ordering apps work with the distributor’s ERP, warehouse management and delivery management systems, so buyers see their own prices and stock and drivers see what to deliver. For an elevator manufacturer, configurator pricing connects to engineering and ERP systems.

We connect through the ERP’s API where it has one, and through files, database views or a middleware layer where it does not. See custom e-commerce and B2B ordering and partner portals for the applications these integrations serve.

API development services and custom API development

An API is a product for the developers who use it: your mobile apps, your partners or your own future integrations. We design APIs around business operations rather than database tables, with authentication, clear errors, pagination, rate limits and webhooks for events other systems need to hear about.

Every API ships with documentation and a versioning policy, so new features do not break existing clients.

API integration services for payments, identity and communications

Payment, identity and messaging providers each have their own rules for retries, security and edge cases. In GoDock, Stripe payments transfer funds to dock operators and keep a commission for the platform. In North Suburban Limousine, customers save a card when booking and are charged later, with payment status updates arriving through webhooks.

VIPAR’s portal uses single sign-on and connects user management, product information and supplier catalogs. Email, SMS and push notifications are wired into the workflows that need them rather than bolted on.

Machine and device data

Industrial systems speak their own protocols. For a Fortune 200 CNC manufacturer, machine data arrives through MTConnect from different adapter formats and is brought into one model for monitoring and alarms. See industrial IoT and machine data for the full chain.

Integrations you can see and recover

Every exchange is logged. Failed messages are retried without creating duplicates, persistent problems alert an owner, and reconciliation reports show whether the systems agree. Integrations run in your environment or in the cloud, including on AWS. For lighter workflows between SaaS tools, automation with n8n, Zapier and Make is often the faster route.

Built around the people who use it

Companies with disconnected systems

Teams that copy data between the ERP, the online store, the warehouse and spreadsheets, and find out about mismatches from customers.

Products that need an API

Businesses whose customers, partners or mobile apps need reliable programmatic access to orders, catalogs or accounts.

The parts needed for a working application

Integration design

A map of the systems, the data each one owns, the direction and timing of every flow and what happens when one side is unavailable.

API development

Documented APIs with authentication, versioning, rate limits and webhooks, built for your apps, partners and mobile clients.

Connectors and synchronization

Connections to ERP, warehouse, delivery, payment, identity and product data systems through their APIs, files or databases.

Monitoring and recovery

Logs for every exchange, alerts on failures, retries without duplicates and reconciliation reports that show the systems agree.

Integrations we have built

Wine and spirits distributor

Web and mobile ordering apps connected to the distributor's ERP, warehouse management and delivery management systems, with customer-specific prices, stock and account balances shown alongside ordering.

VIPAR Heavy Duty

A trade portal integrated with single sign-on, user management, product information and supplier catalogs, so members of the network see current data for their role.

GoDock

A booking marketplace with Stripe payments that transfer funds to dock operators and keep a platform commission, plus maps, SMS, email and mobile push notifications.

North Suburban Limousine

Online booking with Stripe card setup and deferred charging, payment status updates through webhooks, and address autocomplete with distance calculation for trip pricing.

Ball and Buck

A BigCommerce store integrated with an email marketing platform, with products and inventory synchronized with the company's internal system.

Small milestones and visible progress

Map the data flows

List the systems, owners and data, and choose the flow that causes the most manual work or the most errors today.

Connect, reconcile, extend

Senior engineers use AI-assisted delivery to target the first working release in 14 days: one integration in production with monitoring. The next flows follow in agreed milestones.

Pricing: Fixed price per milestone, no hourly billing. About a third of a traditional team's quote for the same scope. Fees for third-party APIs, connectors and middleware are estimated separately.

Questions people ask before starting

Should we use an integration platform or custom code?

Integration platforms suit standard connections between popular applications and teams that want to maintain them without developers. Custom integrations suit high volumes, complex business rules, older systems without modern APIs or data that must not pass through a third party. Many companies use both.

Can you integrate with an older system that has no API?

Often, yes. We can work through file exchanges, database access, message queues or a small service that wraps the old system in a modern API. We confirm what the system allows before designing around it.

What happens when one of the systems is down?

Messages wait in a queue and are retried, so nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice. If a problem persists, the owner receives an alert and can see exactly which records are affected.

Which system should own customer, product and price data?

Usually the system where the data is created and maintained, often the ERP. We agree ownership for each piece of data before building, so two systems never overwrite each other.

Do you document the APIs you build?

Yes. Every API comes with reference documentation, authentication instructions and examples, and changes follow a versioning policy so existing clients keep working.
