Plant and operations managers
Teams that track work orders, machine status and output in spreadsheets, on whiteboards or across several disconnected tools.
Get production data out of machines, spreadsheets and whiteboards and into software your team uses every shift. We build MES functions, machine monitoring and order portals around your plant and the systems you already run.

Packaged manufacturing software assumes a standard plant. Most plants are not standard: they have their own mix of machines, their own way of scheduling and their own reports that the business actually runs on. Custom manufacturing software development starts from that reality and replaces the spreadsheets, whiteboards and re-typing that fill the gaps between systems.
We start with one workflow that costs time every shift, build it with the people who run it and connect it to the systems that already hold the data.
A custom MES does not need to replace everything at once. Plants usually start with the part that hurts most: digital work orders, operator screens that show what to run next, production counts and scrap reporting, quality checks with photos, or traceability of lots and serial numbers. Each piece connects to ERP and planning so the same data is not entered twice.
This approach keeps the first release small enough to deliver in weeks and lets the plant grow the system where it pays off.
For a Fortune 200 CNC manufacturer we built web and mobile applications that show machine status in real time. Machine data arrives through MTConnect, a parser handles different XML adapter formats, and status logic turns the signals into clear normal, warning and failure states. Engineers follow the machines relevant to their work and receive alarms on their phones.
The same approach works for OEE reporting, downtime tracking and shift dashboards. See industrial IoT and machine data for how the data gets from the machine to the screen.
Many plants already run SCADA or HMI platforms such as Ignition. We build industrial applications connected to Ignition rather than replacing it: operator workflows, order portals and dashboards that combine Ignition data with ERP and quality information. The same applies to other plant systems with an API or database we can reach.
Configured products break down between sales and production when the specification travels by email. A configurator checks compatible options and prices each configuration; the order then carries the full specification to engineering and production. For an elevator manufacturer, dependent fields check dimensions, loads and speeds before sales and engineering review the request. See partner and B2B portals for dealer ordering, factory coordination and delivery tracking.
You own the code, the data and the documentation. We document how each integration works and who maintains it, and hand over the system so your team or ours can keep developing it. Hosting can run on your servers or in the cloud, including on AWS.
Teams that track work orders, machine status and output in spreadsheets, on whiteboards or across several disconnected tools.
Companies whose sales, engineering and production pass specifications by email and re-enter them at every step.
Work orders, operator screens, production reporting, quality checks and traceability, scoped to the processes your plant runs.
Data collection from machines through their protocols, live status, alarms and dashboards for engineers and supervisors.
Configurators, quotes and order portals that pass a complete specification to engineering and production.
Connections to ERP, quality and planning systems and to existing SCADA platforms, with clear ownership of each data flow.
Web and mobile applications that show machine status in real time. Data arrives through MTConnect from different adapter formats, is parsed into a common model and translated into normal, warning and failure states, with alarms and access tailored to each engineer's machines.
A customer-facing configurator where dependent fields check compatible cabin and shaft dimensions, loads and speeds, with pricing and a review and approval workflow for sales and engineering before an order moves into production.
Spend time with operators, supervisors and planners, follow one order and one machine through a shift, and pick the first workflow to change.
Senior engineers use AI-assisted delivery to target the first working release in 14 days. It runs on one line or cell first, then extends to the rest of the plant in agreed milestones.
Pricing: Fixed price per milestone, no hourly billing. About a third of a traditional team's quote for the same scope. Hardware, licenses for existing plant systems and hosting are estimated separately.
Buy when a packaged MES fits your processes with configuration alone. Build when your processes are what set you apart, when you need only part of an MES, or when the packaged option would force the plant to work around the software. Many plants combine both: a packaged core with custom screens and integrations.
Often, yes. Newer controllers support standard protocols such as MTConnect or OPC UA; older machines may need an adapter, a gateway or signals from added sensors. We check each machine type before promising what data it can provide.
Yes. We build custom applications that read Ignition data and work next to it, for example operator workflows, order portals or dashboards that combine machine data with business systems. We do not sell Ignition licenses.
We pilot on one line or cell, run new software alongside existing procedures until the results match, and schedule cutovers with the plant. Machine data collection reads from equipment and does not change how the machines run.
Yes. Work orders, materials, quantities and completions can flow between the shop floor and your ERP. We agree which system owns each piece of data and make failed transfers visible so they can be retried.
