Define the first useful outcome
We map who uses the application, what they need to finish and which systems it must connect to. Then we choose a complete, manageable workflow for the first release.
Your first working release in 14 days. Senior engineers own the architecture, implementation and review. You agree to a defined outcome and a fixed price before each milestone starts.
Discuss your first milestone
We map who uses the application, what they need to finish and which systems it must connect to. Then we choose a complete, manageable workflow for the first release.
You receive the milestone scope, delivery plan, fixed price and acceptance criteria. Dependencies and anything outside that scope are written down before work starts.
Senior engineers use AI to assist with routine implementation, then review and test the work. You see the application with realistic scenarios, not just a progress report.
We check the release against the agreed criteria, deploy it and hand over the work. Feedback from use helps us scope the next milestone.
Pricing: Fixed price per milestone, no hourly billing. Our delivery model aims for about a third of a traditional team's quote for the same scope. We compare scope and acceptance criteria, not just a headline price.
AI helps with repetitive implementation, test drafts and documentation. Our engineers decide what should be built, how data moves and where a person must approve an action. They review the code and remain responsible for the application that ships.
For an ordering portal, that means more than drawing an order screen: checking account permissions, pricing rules, failed submissions and the handoff to the system that processes the order. For an internal tool, it means making the everyday workflow reliable for the people who use it.
You work with the team making those decisions. Reviews focus on working software, open questions and the next useful release. Meet the people behind Devvela.
We estimate an outcome, not a pool of developer hours. Before agreeing to a milestone, we make the following explicit:
Hosting, paid services and ongoing support are identified separately when relevant. If a dependency is unclear, we resolve or isolate it before treating it as a fixed commitment.
Fixed price per milestone, no hourly billing. You know the agreed price and the result it covers before development begins. Pay when it ships: payment follows delivery of the agreed milestone, rather than time recorded on a timesheet.
Changes are quoted, not clocked. If a review reveals a better direction, we explain the effect on the current commitment. You approve a revised scope or keep the change for the next milestone. There is no silent expansion of the bill.
You own everything we build for you. Custom code, designs and project documentation belong to you. The handover includes what your team needs to operate and continue the application, subject to the licenses of any third-party components.
AI-assisted development reduces the time spent on routine implementation, test drafts and documentation. With senior engineers directing and reviewing the work, a focused custom application can be faster and less expensive to build than it used to be. That changes the choice between building your own software and adapting to an off-the-shelf product.
For a well-defined workflow, the budget and time to a useful release can be comparable to configuring and integrating a packaged system. The difference is fit: your application follows your approval steps, pricing rules and data relationships. Your team does not have to reshape its process around features intended for everyone else.
Compare the whole picture: implementation, subscriptions, integrations, workarounds and ongoing maintenance. Custom software is not automatically cheaper in every situation. But account-specific ordering, a production workflow or a service with unusual booking rules no longer has to justify a large, open-ended development project. Start with one useful milestone, then expand what works.
We choose the stack around the application and the team that will maintain it. TypeScript and React can support interactive web interfaces; Python or PHP can handle business logic and integrations; PostgreSQL can hold structured application data. Docker makes environments repeatable. Kubernetes is an option when the operating requirements justify it, not a prerequisite for every project.
Deployment can be in your cloud account or within your own infrastructure. We agree on access, backups, monitoring and ownership as part of the release plan. Our projects show how different workflows lead to different implementation choices.
We review how the application is being used, address issues and agree on the next useful improvement. Support responsibilities and response expectations are part of that conversation, not an assumption hidden in the original build price.
Bring a workflow, an existing application or a problem your team keeps working around. We will help define a first milestone you can evaluate.
It depends on the workflows, integrations, data migration and operating requirements in scope. We turn those into milestones with fixed prices and clear acceptance criteria. You can decide on the first milestone without committing to every possible future feature.
We scope the first working release for 14 days: a useful workflow that your team can review and use. It is not a promise to finish an entire enterprise system in that time. Access, sample data and timely decisions are agreed before the milestone starts.
We explain the effect on scope, price and timing before doing the extra work. You can swap priorities, quote a revised milestone or move the change into the next one. Changes are quoted, not clocked.
Our senior engineers do. They make the architecture and security decisions, review generated code and test the workflow before release. AI assists the team; it does not replace engineering responsibility.
You own the custom code, designs and project deliverables. Third-party software keeps its own license terms. We hand over the repository, documentation and deployment details so another team can maintain the application.
Yes. We begin by understanding its data, integrations and current users, then choose a contained improvement or migration milestone. We plan data checks, release steps and a rollback approach around the system already running your business.
